About Otis
Otis Some dogs capture your heart instantly, and Otis is one of them. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was emaciated and faced euthanasia without intervention. You could count every rib and bone on his tiny body, as he was starving. But despite his hardships, Otis remained kind, loving, and joyfully welcoming to everyone around him. In just one week in rescue, he gained nearly 30% of his body weight through a careful refeeding plan. His bloodwork looked remarkably good for his condition, and he is steadily becoming the healthy and happy dog he was meant to be. People who meet Otis can't help but fall for him. Multiple volunteers are even playfully considering adopting him, showing just how special he is. Otis loves every human he meets and is great with other dogs. While he is afraid of cats, he respects them, making him a good fit for homes with cat roommates. His gentle, affectionate nature shines through; he melts into you when you pet him and shows immense gratitude for love. It’s clear he knows he was saved, seen in his joyful demeanor and eagerness for affection. Otis will be ready for his forever home during the first week of June after his neuter and final vaccines. This sweet boy is looking for a very special family to match his wonderful spirit. Click apply to start the adoption process.
