While he may come off a bit shy initially, a few gentle scratches will bring out his happy tail wags and loyal side. Chewy embodies an easygoing spirit. He enjoys playful moments but doesn’t demand the spotlight. After some time with other dogs, his fun-loving personality shines as he plays and frolics with his canine pals. His real joy, however, comes from human companionship. He is excellent on a loose leash and rides well in the car. This quiet gentleman is crate trained and making great strides with potty training. Chewy gets along well with both dogs and cats. His grooming skills are top-notch—just be careful around his face with the blow dryer! One of Chewy’s endearing traits is his protective nature. He may vocalize when other male dogs get too close to his female friend, but it’s all in good fun. He eventually returns to play with his pals. Having arrived from a neglect situation, Chewy is healing from a recent flea infestation but is now in great health. He’s eager to find a loving family to spend his days with.
