Meet Chewy! Chewy is a charming 3-year-old Aussiedoodle with a striking merle coat and a heart full of love. Though he may start off a bit shy, a few gentle scratches will quickly reveal a happy boy with a wagging tail ready to be your loyal companion. This easygoing dog prefers a laid-back vibe but becomes playful when he's among friends; just give him 20 minutes with other dogs, and he'll start to show his silly side, joining in on the fun. Walking on a loose leash and taking car rides like a pro, Chewy is usually a quiet presence. Crate trained and transitioning well with potty training, he’s great with both dogs and cats, and has been friendly with everyone he's met. Grooming is a breeze for him too; he may not enjoy the blow dryer on his face, but he behaves like a true gentleman during baths and grooming appointments. One of Chewy’s endearing traits is his gentle nature. He does take on the role of protector for his girlfriend, barking to keep other male dogs at bay, but it’s all bark and no bite. He quickly forgets his guarding duty and happily plays with everyone. Having come from a neglect situation, he's healing well from a flea infestation but is otherwise healthy and ready for a loving home.
