About Oakley

Meet Oakley, a big-hearted eight-month-old mixed breed with a blend of Alaskan Malamute and German Shepherd traits. Weighing in at 65 pounds, he’s just starting to explore the world and takes it all in with his sweet and dorky personality. After being rescued with six other dogs, Oakley is getting used to life outside his previous indoor space, and it's a bit overwhelming for him at times. Despite his initial hesitation, he exudes affection and is a gentle spirit. Oakley thrives on attention and kindness, soaking up affection from those who offer him patience and reassurance. Although he’s still figuring out the leash and navigating the outdoors, he shows a willingness to learn and adapt with a consistent routine and encouragement. This loving boy just needs a nurturing home to help him grow into the loyal companion he's meant to be. His captivating big ears will be hard to resist! You can meet Oakley at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. Don’t wait to make this sweet soul part of your family!
