About Polar
Polar is a two-year-old Siberian Husky mix with a striking look, including classic ice-blue eyes. Found as a stray in Yakima, WA, he’s still adjusting to new routines and can be cautious at first, but every day he grows a little more confident. On walks, Polar is in no hurry—he likes to explore at his own pace, taking in the world through scent and sight. Independent and thoughtful, he’s naturally curious and observant, and he’s steadily opening up to the people around him. Polar’s social side comes out with the right company. He gets along best with calm, low-key dogs and won’t hesitate to set boundaries with pups who are too rowdy. He’d do fine solo or in a laid-back canine household. Huskies, at heart, are energetic and smart; they do best with patient handling and regular stimulation, both physical and mental. Polar is no exception. He needs someone who understands and respects his independent streak, and who’s ready to help him find his footing as he learns to trust. With consistent structure and gentle guidance, he’ll become a loyal, engaging companion. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
