About Kiwi

There are few things more adorable than puppies, and Pal's Place happens to have four of the most precious and perfect smaller mixed breed mix pups looking for loving homes. These little angels were rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and are now in a loving foster home in Chicago, waiting to meet their forever families. This litter is estimated to be around 4 months old, and the puppies weigh between 9 and 13 pounds. Given their current age & weights, we anticipate they will be smaller dogs when fully mature, with an estimated weight range of 20-30 pounds. There are two males (Kermit & Kirby) and two females (Kiwi & Kimchi) Breed guess...variety pack! Chihuahua is likely along with terrier breeds such as Jack Russell or Rat Terrier. We also think Pomeranian and/or Pekingese are breeds that could be found somewhere in the family tree. They are very friendly, social, curious, and happy puppies who will make fantastic companions. Given their probable breed mix, they will most likely be clever, feisty, enthusiastic, and energetic dogs who will thrive with active and engaging families with a solid sense of humor. Puppies are undoubtedly adorable and fun, but require a great deal of time and attention during their first several months. Please remember that puppies this age need frequent potty breaks (every 3-4 hours or so) and lots of playtime, engagement, and mental stimulation throughout the day, so please consider if you truly have the time for a puppy before applying. The adoption fee to the rescue is $475 per puppy. They are neutered, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and are started on flea and heartworm preventatives. • These puppies are fostered in Chicago, and meetings can be scheduled by appointment only after an adoption application has been completed and approved. The adoption fee per puppy to the rescue is $475. This fee helps to cover their neuterings, initial vaccines, microchips, and other care needs. Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs for any reason. Please do not submit an adoption application unless you are ready to meet and welcome a dog into your home within three days of applying. We respond to inquiries, questions, and applications by email. We are a volunteer-run organization and strive to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours, though we may occasionally take longer. Correspondence from the rescue may end up in your spam or junk folder. If you are awaiting a reply, please check those folders regularly.
