About Apollo
Meet Apollo! Location: Bullard, TX DOB: 5/23/2023 Apollo is a gentle soul who warms the hearts of everyone he encounters. While he may take a few moments to trust new faces, once he does, he becomes an affectionate cuddle bug. His unique way of expressing love includes softly booping your nose and performing delightful vertical bunny hops when he’s excited. With a calm demeanor, Apollo enjoys lounging with a good chew bone. He's house-trained, rides well in the car, and walks gracefully on a leash. He has made great strides with his crate training, becoming more comfortable with it over time. Apollo does best in patient homes that understand the needs of timid dogs. He has shown no signs of aggression, opting instead to display a submissive belly roll when scared. Even though he was once reliant on his Great Dane mix foster brother for reassurance, he's gaining confidence, evolving into a less dependent companion. He adores children, having formed a bond with a two-year-old girl in his foster home, and can often be found napping or relaxing around the home’s little ones. Although his behaviors around cats are not known, with a calm and friendly dog companion, he would likely continue to grow in confidence. Apollo is a special pup looking for a loving family who can provide the patience and understanding he needs. He will offer boundless loyalty and affection in return. If you’re ready for a sweet companion who may sprinkle a few nose boops into your life, Apollo could be the one for you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
