About Bart
Bart is a lovable 9-year-old Hound mix, weighing in at 60 lbs. His charming personality shines through in every interaction. Despite his years, Bart holds onto a playful spirit with bursts of energy that will make you laugh. He can be seen trotting happily with a toy one moment, then curling up on the couch as your loyal companion the next. This sweet dog has a heartwarming backstory. He came to a crowded shelter in Houston, Texas after losing his owner and ended up on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. However, his amazing spirit shines through. Bart has proven to be gentle and affectionate, always wanting to be close to his humans. In his foster home, he’s proved to be fantastic with children and gets along famously with other dogs. Bart walks well on a leash, enjoys his walks, and adopts the role of a professional couch potato when it’s time to relax. Potty trained and well-mannered in the car, he’s ready for all of life’s adventures. Farfel's Rescue believes Bart would thrive in a loving home with retirees or families that spend a lot of time at home. This people-loving guy is eager for a fresh start and a caring family to call his own. He’s fully vetted, vaccinated, and neutered. Let’s help Bart find the warm and loving home he deserves. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
