About Penny
Meet sweet Penny! This beautiful young Lab/Great Pyrenees mix is just as lucky as a heads-up penny. She's up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and eager to find an active home. Penny is intelligent and inquisitive, always ready to be part of whatever her humans are doing. She bonds strongly and loves pets, cuddles, and kisses. Her friendly nature means she never misses a chance to make a new friend. Fully house-trained, she rings a bell when she needs to go outside. Penny rides well in the car, takes treats gently, and knows basic commands like sit and stay. However, her excitement can sometimes distract her, especially with potential prey like rabbits in her sights. Penny adores other dogs, currently living with four Labradors and thriving on their playtime. She's enthusiastic and her play style is energetic, so she would benefit from a companion who enjoys fun as much as she does. Since she's still a young, active dog, she might accidentally knock over frail individuals or very young children, so an adult home would suit her best. Penny requires a special environment where she can safely manage her curious spirit. She's not crate-trained and needs either a securely fenced yard or an attentive family to supervise her outdoor time. She loves being outside, especially in a rural setting where she can explore and be part of daily activities. Penny thrives on physical exercise and mental stimulation, making her an excellent hiking partner or adventure buddy. While she's loving and loyal, Penny should not be with small animals due to her prey drive, and she prefers to eat separately as she guards her food. If you're searching for an affectionate, high-energy companion to share daily adventures with, Penny might just be the lucky penny you need. Your new journey awaits!
