Meet George, a charming little guy with a story that tugs at the heartstrings. He and his siblings, Smudge, Shy Guy, and Dennis, were born to a stray in Independence. After some harrowing adventures seeking safety, they found a kind lady who cared for them, but they faced challenges along the way. Fortunately, George escaped from a garage where they were locked up and is now ready for a loving home. George requires an indoor home, though there’s a barn cat program available for the right fit. We conduct home visits and limit adoptions to about 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, IA, as we want to ensure everyone will be happy together.
