About Tofu

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Tofu and Emily! These two beautiful Domestic Short Hair cats are searching for a forever home where they can stay together. Previously adopted and later returned for reasons unrelated to their behavior, Tofu and Emily are ready to try again. While Emily is nonchalant about being bonded, Tofu is more timid and finds comfort in Emily’s presence, especially with new experiences. They can be wary of change at first, but with a little patience and love, both warm up and truly enjoy being pet. Tofu, the more reserved of the pair, is slightly cross-eyed and has a tail that, while a bit limp from an old injury, doesn’t keep him from being happy and healthy. Emily may look grumpy, and she sometimes acts spicy when meeting new feline friends but has shown she acclimates with time. They have been living successfully with other cats in foster, but would likely do best in a home with older children due to their sensitivity to change. Their adoption package includes spay/neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, and health testing, and Last Hope strongly encourages keeping adopted cats indoors for their safety. If you’re ready for a sweet bonded pair, Tofu and Emily are waiting to meet you at Last Hope Animal Rescue. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
