About Victoria

Victoria is a striking black and white cat with a tuxedo pattern, still searching for her place in the world after arriving as a frightened kitten back in December 2020. She grew up with her siblings—now adopted—in a foster home, learning the basics of love and living with people, but Victoria never quite lost her shy streak. She’s over two years old now, living at the adoption center in Cedar Rapids alongside other reserved cats. Despite being around new faces daily, Victoria sticks to quiet corners and takes time to warm up with both cats and people. Her shy and timid nature means she’ll need a patient adopter willing to give her the space and time she requires to start feeling safe and playful. Victoria is fully vetted: she’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Volunteers hope a quiet home or even a foster-to-adopt situation might finally help her personality shine. She does get along with other cats, especially those who are gentle like her. If you’re looking for a tender project and believe in earned trust, Victoria might just be your cat. Click apply to start the adoption process.
