About Victoria
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Meet Victoria, a beautiful black and white Domestic Shorthair with a gentle heart and a shy spirit. Victoria came to the rescue as a frightened kitten in December 2020, alongside her siblings Nicholas and Diana. Both of her littermates found homes long ago, but Victoria is still patiently waiting for a special someone to help her blossom in a loving environment. As a young cat, Victoria spent time in a foster home, where she enjoyed watching the world through the door and playing with her siblings. Though her littermates grew comfortable around humans, Victoria has remained timid and shy, even after moving to the adoption center. She now lives with other shy kitties and is gradually gaining confidence through daily interactions with dedicated volunteers. Victoria is completely vetted—she is spayed, microchipped with a free lifetime registration, and fully up-to-date on her vaccinations and parasite prevention. Victoria may benefit from a patient adopter willing to provide her with time, understanding, and perhaps even a foster-to-adopt experience to see how she might thrive in a quiet, supportive home. If you're looking to make a true difference in a cat’s life, Victoria is waiting at the Last Hope Animal Rescue Adoption Center in Cedar Rapids—she just needs a chance to show her soft, affectionate side. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
