About Doc
Doc is a charming male Terrier mix puppy who came into the shelter in Marietta, OH with his six siblings when their former family could no longer care for them. With his short white coat and striking black patchesโone big one on his left shoulder and four more along his back and sideโhe's easy to spot, especially because of that tiny black stripe above his left eye. That little mark sets him apart from his brother, Happy. Doc is just four months old and brings the kind of innocence and curiosity you expect in a healthy young dog. He gets along well with other dogs and children, enjoying the play and snuggles that come his way. Shelter staff noticed he and his littermates were more interested in greeting the resident shelter cats than figuring out leash walking, which made for some entertaining photo shoots. While he's not house trained yet, Doc is quick to hand out puppy kisses and adapt to new friendships. He's already started his vaccines and weighs a solid, healthy amount for his age and size. Doc will be neutered before adoption, but can join a foster-to-adopt home while he waits for that procedure. Doc is ready for someone to guide him through his next adventure.
