About Henry
Henry is a striking 2-year-old Boxer/Terrier mix with a glossy short tan coat, expressive brown eyes, and a chubby Boxer-like face. Originally arriving as a 10-week-old puppy, Henry grew up loved and cherished, first by his foster and then by his adoptive family. He has always craved attention and play, lighting up around people and showing off his outgoing personality. Unfortunately, as he matured, Henry developed a habit of nipping and snapping at children, which led to a tough decision by his family to return him to the shelter. Henry is strong on a leash and knows his "sit" command, but definitely needs continued obedience training and would do best with an experienced handler who can provide structure and consistency. His ideal home does not include children, but someone who understands canine behavior and enjoys engaging with a smart, energetic dog will appreciate what Henry brings to the table. He is house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Henry is in Marietta, OH, ready for someone committed to helping him become his best self. Every Taurus loves routine and comfort, and Henry is no exception. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
