Puberty hit Tailer like a car -- literally. She came from an emergency vet after a good samaritan found her. We were fortunate when donors paid for her dental surgery and gave her her name! It took about 3 months before she started coming up to staff and volunteers and accepting the occasional pets. She's very cautious and worried about sudden movements and changes. But she LOVES FOOD! Quickest way to this girl's heart is food -- she's friendliest when she think you'll drop treats! She has special cat friends who know she's been through something traumatic, and will give her small kisses on her forehead, as if to say "it's ok" Tailer would do great in a very quiet and patient home, since it takes her quite some time to warm up to others.
