Bitsy
AvailableBitsy is a small, buff and fawn short-haired young female domestic short hair cat, currently in Cincinnati, OH. She is spayed and has up-to-date vaccinations. Bitsy is not yet house trained and has special needs stemming from her family history of FIP and a previous ear polyp, but she does well with cats and flourishes in a patient, watchful home. Born on May 6, Bitsy is a Taurus—a cat who knows the comfort of a good sunbeam and cozy corner.
About Bitsy
Bitsy has had a rougher start to life. Raised with a litter of four, two siblings went home together, but tragedy hit early when one passed from FIP. Her history means she'd do best with an adopter who is attentive, ready to share any health changes with the vet just in case FIP becomes a concern. A past ear polyp meant her head was tilted for a while, but after a successful removal, she's more comfortable now and learning to trust her surroundings. Bitsy prefers a calm, patient home. When things get loud or unpredictable she gets nervous and looks for somewhere safe to hide. She's at her most content quietly sunbathing or lounging on soft, plushy things. Though she keeps her guard up at times, Bitsy is always up for the thrill of a feather toy. She does well with other cats, so a gentle feline friend would be a plus. She's searching for someone who doesn't mind going slow, giving her sunlit patches, and letting her adjust at her pace. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
