SPECIFICS Purebred Persian, shaded silver, green eyes, 3 years-old, spayed female, 5 lbs., with claws. Cat friendly: yes, with a cat that has a complimentary personality or adopt one of the Persian friends that came with her. Dog friendly: potentially with a small dog that would ignore and appropriate introductions Kid friendly: 10 yrs+, cat savvy and respectful Special needs: None GETTING TO KNOW ME Frosty looks like a puffy little cloud with giant, bright green eyes that look like marbles. This little girl is slightly on the introverted and can be a bit of a wallflower. She is currently growing out of her spring lion-cut and looks like a perfect lil teddy bear. IDEAL HOME Frosty needs a home that is stable, interactive, respectful of her boundaries and cautious of her size. She starts off shy but don't let that fool you. Once settled in and comfortable she'll follow her person around ever so quietly. She might be shy but if you're doing something that Frosty is uncomfortable with you might get a warning hiss or growl. She would thrive with a patient, quiet and attentive family who's home regularly and willing to cherish her as she blossoms. She would be fine with a complementary feline companion but would be okay as a single too(if you'd like a pair, she has her roomie Persian sisters). A respectful small dog and kid over 10yrs would be fine too. Like all cats, her wish list includes cat trees near windows for bird-watching and cozy spots to lounge with her favorite humans. You'll always need to keep her safety in mind with her very small size. As with any new cat, starting off in a safe space with plenty of time to acclimate is critical. She really loves her breakfast and dinner, which consists of canned 4Health pate(similar to Wellness Pate), and currently loves the fresh and clean water from her ceramic water fountain. Twinkie is perfect with her open top which accommodates her fluff. CARE REQUIREMENTS *Feeding: 4Health pate or similar with transition. *Litter: Open-style box with unscented clumping litter (one box per cat, plus one extra) currently using Worlds Best(she has used this litter her entire life so we wouldn't recommend a heavy clay litter). *Grooming: Daily eye maintenance with Eye Envy and combing once a week with a monthly nail trim. She can be wiggly and sassy so patience with experience and/or a cat groomer is needed. TRANSITION TIPS Frosty needs a patient family who understands that settling in takes time. Frosty will absolutely need to start out in a "base camp" room in her new home, while she becomes familiar and comfortable with her new people and other pets, and she will let you know when she's ready to explore more of the home. Please research bringing home a new cat & proper cat introductions. YouTube has many great Jackson Galaxy videos to help with introductions. VETTING PROVIDED Exam, spayed, tested negative for FELV/FIV & heartworm, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, Nares surgery, and is microchipped. Medical Records are supplied at adoption completion.
