Meet Stella! Stella is an approximately 2-year-old husky/terrier mix weighing about 45 pounds. She came to our rescue as a devoted young mom caring for a litter of eight puppies, and her gentle, loving nature shines through in everything she does. Stella has a calm, laid-back personality and would make an excellent family dog. She is wonderful with children, enjoys spending time with her people, and is incredibly easy to be around. Whether it's a leisurely walk around the neighborhood or relaxing at home, Stella is happiest simply being part of the family. She walks beautifully on a leash and remains calm and friendly when meeting new people. Stella gets along well with other mellow dogs. Very energetic dogs can make her a little nervous at first, but once she realizes they're friendly, she settles in nicely. Stella is nearly fully potty trained, with only an occasional accident as she continues to learn. She's making great progress and should be fully house-trained in no time. And while Stella is mostly a laid-back lady, she does have a clever side! We had a suspicion there may be a little Husky in her because she's been known to figure out how to unlatch the dog food bin and help herself to a snack when no one is looking. Smart, resourceful, and food-motivatedwhat more could you ask for? Stella has already proven what a loving and devoted dog she is. Shes ready to find a forever family of her own, one that will appreciate her gentle heart, calm spirit, and occasional mischievous streak.
