About Foxy
Foxy landed at the rescue after her time as a stray ran out and no one came to claim her. She’s a medium-sized Husky mix who soaks up attention and never turns down a game of fetch—especially if treats are part of the deal. Foxy will show affection once she’s comfortable, but she does have resource guarding behaviors and doesn’t like people touching her face or mouth. Her history is unknown, and those quirks mean she needs someone well-versed in handling dogs with behavioral challenges. Foxy isn’t a fit for houses with children. She doesn’t do well with other dogs and will need to be the only dog in the home. Though she’s been around cats and was timid, her overall unpredictable behavior means she should be the sole pet. Foxy is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for a patient, experienced adopter to give her structure and the right boundaries. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
