Bruno was surrendered along with his brother and mom to Bonita Shelter. When we welcomed them to Frosted Faces, Bruno had a bad cough that was diagnosed by our veterinarian as bronchopneumonia. This meant he needed to be in isolation, making a two-week Frosted Fling in a home without any others exactly what Bruno needed. Thankfully, a wonderful foster stepped forward to give him lots of TLC while he recovered. Bruno's foster mom shares their story: "Initially, Bruno was pretty miserable, slept all day, hardly ate and pretty lethargic, but eventually, the antibiotics did their magic. I saw him blossom into a spunky guy with a hearty appetite who can't stop wagging his tail and loves to be petted. So Bruno is now RTG -- Ready To Go to his forever home! Bruno was obviously been well-cared for previously and has the makings of a wonderful companion. He follows me around the house, and when I'm at my desk, he will watch me from his bed. Bruno only barks at intruders or to remind me when he thinks it's mealtime. He eats three small meals a day. Bruno goes for walks and has nice leash manners. He also enjoys sitting in the sun. To stay warm, he likes to sleep under the covers. Bruno has the softest coat of any chihuahua I've ever known. Now that he's healed, Bruno is ready for his next chapter."
