Meet Fritz Friend, a 7-month-old Cattle Dog/Beagle mix, weighing 32 pounds (as of 6/19/26). Fritz may have been surrendered by his owners in Tennessee, but he knows the good life is just beyond the horizon! He can't wait to meet you and call your house home! When it comes to sweethearts, Fritz is numero uno! When he's not buying you "just because" flowers or giving you loads of kisses, he loves to be active and play to his heart's content. But this guy also has a calm side and is happy to spend it cuddled by you with a good book. Fritz loves people and has done well with kids. He gets along with other dogs but definitely does better with females. What he can say? He's a ladies man! We assume he has some house-training and knows how to use a dog door. He's had some experience with crates and will be learning leash manners to be the best family member he can be. We're not sure about cats but maybe an introduction is in order. Fritz would truly be the rockstar in any home. Don't wait to pick up this sweet boy! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Fritz Friend, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $495] ** PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
