Macie is a gentle soul who is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. This sweet Maltese has had a difficult past and can be shy when meeting new people, but beneath her timid exterior is a dog who longs for kindness and companionship. With patience, understanding, and lots of love, Macie will blossom into a devoted companion. She's looking for someone willing to show her that her best days are still ahead. The adoption fee is $100. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
