AvailableAbout Nola
Nola came to the shelter with her three puppies and has been a devoted mom every step of the way. Now that her puppies are old enough to find homes of their own, Nola is ready for her turn. Shelter life and all the recent changes have made her a little anxious, but she remains incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving. After raising three puppies, Nola deserves a chance to be someone's baby. This gentle mama has done an amazing job caring for her pups and is now looking for a home where she can relax and be loved. She's a sweet soul who just needs a little reassurance as she adjusts to all the changes around her. While she can be a bit anxious in the shelter environment, her gentle nature and loving heart shine through. With patience and kindness, Nola will make a wonderful companion. Please note the "Start Your Inquiry" button to the right above is not submitting your application. You can also go to cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt or bit.ly/CCHSadopt. Thank you! Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
