Phoebe was found as a stray while we were in Oklahoma. At the time, she was skin and bones and clearly needed help. Thanks to a dedicated foster stepping up, Phoebe was able to make the trip to Iowa and begin her journey toward a brighter future. Phoebe is an approximately 3-4-month-old Terrier mix who loves being around her people. Whether shes playing with a squeaky toy, running around outside, or simply hanging out with her family, Phoebe is happiest when shes included in the fun. She has a sweet personality and enjoys both playtime and downtime with her favorite humans. Phoebe does well with dogs, cats, and children. She is crate trained and has not had any accidents in her kennel or foster home. While she may protest a little when first being kenneled, she settles down nicely after a short time. She walks well on a leash and is showing signs of being a smart, eager-to-please puppy who will enjoy learning new things as her training continues. After a rough start to life, Phoebe is thriving in foster care and gaining confidence every day. She has come a long way from the underweight puppy who was found in Oklahoma and is ready to find a family of her own. Adoption Information: All puppies have typical energy levels and require a dedicated adopter who is willing to invest time and effort into training. While we strive to start the potty-training process, please keep in mind that puppies this age are not guaranteed to be fully house trained. This is an excellent age to introduce her to children and other animals, as early socialization is key to her development! Phoebe will be adopted under a spay contract, with an adoption fee of $500. $100 of this fee will be reimbursed upon proof of spay. She is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.
