About Lou

Lou is a one-year-old Staffordshire Terrier who was surrendered for being "too much," but he’s just waiting for someone who can give him enough love and activity. This bright, high-energy dog is incredibly treat-motivated, making training a fun experience. He thrives on structure and guidance, aiming to be an active part of your life rather than just a resident in your home. Lou enjoys long walks and takes correction well, so he's a great walking companion. He’s previously lived with another dog but will need proper introductions to ensure compatibility. This boy is not a couch potato—Lou seeks an active household ready for hikes, training, and adventures. As he’s still learning his manners, a home without small toddlers would be ideal during this process. The right person will recognize that Lou is just right, ready to share his heart with the right match. Come meet Lou and see the potential together. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
