Meet Lou Lou is a one-year-old Staffordshire Terrier who lost his home simply for being a little too puppy-like—but we see something different. We see a bright, loving, high-energy dog who just hasn’t found his perfect match yet. He’s a great walker, takes correction well, and is incredibly treat-motivated—which makes training fun and rewarding. Lou is SUPER smart and thrives when he has structure, guidance, and a purpose. He doesn’t just want to exist in your home—he wants to be part of your life. Lou has previously been housed with another dog for a short period, but he will need proper introductions to ensure a good fit. This boy is not meant to be a couch potato. Lou is looking for an active home—someone who wants a dog to do life with. Hikes, walks, training, adventures... Lou is ready for all of it. He’ll give his whole heart to someone willing to meet him where he’s at. Like many young dogs, Lou is still working on his manners and can get a bit jumpy when excited, so a home without small toddlers would be best while he continues to learn.
