Meet Pekoe! This beautiful spayed brown tabby Domestic Shorthair has a loving heart and a resilient spirit. She was once adopted as a kitten alongside her sister, but circumstances led her back to rescue after her sister was placed with an elderly family member who has since passed away. Now, Pekoe is ready for a fresh start and a loving forever home. Despite the challenges she has faced, Pekoe remains sweet, affectionate, and playful. She thrives on attention and enjoys entertaining herself with playful antics. Her gentle nature makes her a wonderful companion. Pekoe is learning to adjust to life at the rescue and is becoming more open to the idea of socializing with other cats, provided there are proper introductions. She could also get along with a calm, respectful dog and is great with children. Pekoe has been through more than any cat should have to endure, yet she has not lost her delightful disposition. We are even trying to reunite her with her sister. She’s fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and altered, ready to find someone who will cherish her for life. She is successfully using the litter box and we recommend starting her in a smaller room during the initial transition. Pekoe deserves stability, love, and security moving forward.
