Meet Yotie, a charming 10 and 1/2-month-old Australian Cattle Dog/Basenji mix who will soon be transported to New England. He weighs about 35 pounds and is ready to find his forever home. Previously a stray from Mississippi, this brave boy is looking for a family where he can enjoy all the love (and treats) he deserves. Yotie has a wonderfully relaxed nature, perfect for calming any chaos in your life. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is friendly towards strangers, which might even make it easier for you to connect with new friends. He has been around a cat successfully—but, like with all dogs, slow introductions are advised. Just be cautious with chickens; his instincts can get the better of him. While Yotie is adjusting from life on the streets, he is making progress with leash training and is comfortable with crates. He’s seeking a patient home willing to help him continue mastering the skills to be a great family member. Yotie truly deserves a loving home, and he hopes it can be yours!
