Senpai is a 55-pound lovebug who’s convinced he’s a lap dog. He’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when he’s by your side — his nickname could easily be Shadow because he never wants to leave you. He enjoys a good walk or outing (farmers market approved!) and then is perfectly content to relax next to you for the rest of the day. He has great leash skills, comes when called, doesn’t bolt out the door, rarely barks, and stays calm around other dogs — even reactive ones. Senpai is wonderful with children, though because he doesn’t always realize his size, he may do best with slightly older kids. He’s a happy-go-lucky guy with that perfect medium energy: playful when it’s time to go, relaxed when it’s time to chill. He has done well with his potty training and is great on leash. He’s still working on a few things, but with a little guidance, he’ll make an incredibly loving companion.
