About Brutus

Brutus is a lovely senior Chihuahua who has made incredible strides since being rescued. He was once a frightened boy in pain from 22 rotten teeth and a ruptured anal gland, which made him hard to handle and quite anxious. Thankfully, after getting the necessary medical attention, including dental surgery and treatment for his heart, he transformed into a sweet, cuddly companion. Brutus enjoys playing with other small dogs and has a real fondness for treats. Despite needing two heart medications costing around $80 monthly, he is otherwise a healthy boy. It's recommended he have check-ups every six months to monitor his heart condition. Although he prefers a home without children, he's ready to shower his new family with affection.
