About May
May is a playful 9-month-old Shepherd mix looking for her forever home. With her distinctive brindle and white/cream coat, she catches eyes wherever she goes. Currently at Kern County Animal Services in Bakersfield, she’s been waiting for a loving family since June 4, 2026. While May isn’t house trained yet, she’s eager to learn and would thrive in a supportive environment. This sweet girl has not been altered yet, but she is up to date on vaccinations. May would do best in a home where she can receive plenty of attention, as she still has a lot of puppy energy. If you’re a first-time dog owner, she’ll be a delightful companion to grow with. May is not yet house trained and is currently not in a position to live with families who cannot invest time in her training. If you think you could provide the love and care May needs, don’t hesitate to apply!
