About Moon Urgent
Moon is in urgent need of a new home due to an upper respiratory infection, which puts him at risk of euthanasia at the shelter. He is a 6-year-old Pit Bull Terrier who has been at the Kern County Animal Services in Bakersfield since June 5, 2026. This medium-sized boy has a striking bicolor coat of brown and white, and is ready for a fresh start with a loving family. Although he hasn’t yet mastered house training, Moon is a loyal companion looking for an experienced adopter who can help him thrive. He is currently vaccinated but is not yet altered.
