Cecil is a friendly young pup with a history that pulls at the heartstrings. Once a boar hunting dog in Monroe County, he faced adversity when he was seized by the police, found emaciated and with large wounds from his rough experiences. He's even branded on his backside. Thankfully, BCAWS rescued him from the shelter to restore his health and find him the loving home he deserves. At around 2-3 years old and a little under 60 pounds, Cecil is a charming Redbone Coonhound with a golden coat. He has a playful spirit and loves to carry his food bowl around, as if preparing for a snack at any moment. Not only is he a social butterfly, he also gets along great with both children and dogs.
