About Festus

Meet Festus, a snuggly and affectionate Redbone Coonhound. He enjoys basking in the sun while lounging on the deck and is a pro at belly rubs. Festus is house trained, and he's a quick learner who's becoming more comfortable on a leash. Though he loves to run, he reliably comes back and is learning to stay close during off-lead adventures. This energetic guy would be an ideal fit for a runner looking for a long-distance companion. He rides in the car but initially feels anxious until he realizes you’re headed somewhere fun, not back to the shelter. Festus does not get along with cats but gets along well with other dogs, making him a great addition to a dog-friendly home. Festus is ready to find his forever home. What are you waiting for?
