About Sam

Meet Sam! This handsome hound mix is around a year old and has a gentle heart to match. Sam thrived in a loving home where he lived with another dog and a one-year-old child, showcasing his affectionate nature and calm demeanor. Unfortunately, due to his adopters' divorce, he and his dog sibling, Ranger, are now looking for new forever homes. Sam can be a little shy at first, but once you earn his trust, you’ll discover a loyal companion. His ability to bond deeply with the people he loves is special. With patience and reassurance, he’ll settle right in. In addition to being great with other dogs, he has proven himself to be child-friendly as well. Although he’s not yet house trained, Sam’s friendly and gentle personality makes him a wonderful fit for many family dynamics. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will shower you with love and devotion, Sam is eager to meet you. Noah's Arc Animal Rescue, a nonprofit serving East Tennessee since 1991, is committed to finding loving homes for animals in need. All pets are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
