About Piper

Meet Piper, a lively two-year-old Pharaoh Hound and American Pitbull Terrier mix currently residing in Hickory, NC. Weighing in at 31 pounds, she’s a compact bundle of joy with a sleek brown coat and a charming white chest. Piper has come a long way from her neglected past and now embodies joy, trust, and boundless energy. She thrives on interaction, whether it's zipping around the yard with her favorite toy, engaging in chase games, or curling up for cuddle time. Her active nature makes her an ideal companion for a family that enjoys outdoor activities and mental challenges. Piper is both house-trained and crate-trained, already mastering commands like sit, down, and stay. She’s a social butterfly, greeting newcomers with heartfelt hugs and enthusiasm. Great with children, she also plays well with other dogs. However, her strong prey drive means she’s not suitable for homes with cats or small animals. After playtime, she'll happily settle down next to you, enjoying some quiet, snuggly moments. Piper shares a special bond with her calm friend George, and they would love to be adopted together if possible. Could your home be the perfect place for Piper to thrive?
