About Bagel
Meet Bagel! This lovely girl earned her name in a rather unique way. While driving down a rural road, we spotted two dogs lounging in the grass. With some coaxing and a tasty Lox Salmon Bagel, we managed to capture them—naming the boy Lox and our girl Bagel. Shortly after being rescued, we discovered Bagel was pregnant. Regrettably, complications arose, leading to an emergency C-section where one puppy didn't make it. However, her other six puppies are thriving, thanks to her nurturing nature. Bagel is now comfortably settled in her foster home, learning what it means to truly be a dog and not just a survivor on the streets. At around 1.5 to 2 years old, she weighs about 35-40 pounds, making her an adorable medium-sized companion. Bagel forms strong bonds with other dogs, so having a canine friend is a must for her new home. She's not only friendly with all dogs but also gets along well with cats. Over time, she has learned to play and enjoy cuddles, transforming from a dog barely able to walk on a leash to a confident companion at adoption events. This girl embodies resilience. Bagel has been spayed, is fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She’s heartworm negative and up-to-date on prevention. If you're looking for a gentle, loving friend, Bagel may be the one for you.
