Frances is a young female Beagle, weighing approximately small size, with a tricolor coat of brown, black, and white. She is not yet spayed, but vaccinations are up to date. Though she is not house trained yet and will need patience to adjust after her past experiences, she has a kind spirit waiting to emerge in Watertown, WI.

About Frances

Frances is one of 13 beagles from Ridglan Farms starting a new chapter. At around 2 years old, she needs a special home as she adjusts from her early years spent in cages. This experience has left her fearful, making her an extreme flight risk. Everything in her new world can feel overwhelming, but each new smell and sound offers a chance for her to build confidence. Finding the right home is crucial. Frances will thrive in a setting with a securely fenced yard and where there are no small children, although mature children over 10 years can be considered. Ideally, a friendly, confident dog companion will help her feel more at ease. Patience is key, as this journey will take time. Expect some potty accidents initially, and be prepared for a slow process as she learns to trust and enjoy human affection. A reward awaits those willing to take on this challenge: watching Frances experience the joys of life as a dog. She is not spayed yet but is scheduled for surgery shortly. If you believe you can provide her the loving environment she needs, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at Whsadopt.org to take the first step.
