Iceberg is a senior male Domestic Short Hair, approximately 8 years and 7 months old. He’s an extra-large cat with gray, blue, and silver fur, complemented by white patches. Iceberg has been altered and is up to date on vaccinations. He requires a special diet due to his urinary issues. Located in Tucson, AZ, he is a loving companion looking for a dedicated owner to help manage his specific needs.

About Iceberg

Iceberg joined us in October 2024 as an owner surrender due to urinary issues. Upon his arrival, we discovered he had a bladder stone—something he's faced before. Previously, he underwent a perineal urethrostomy to help ease his urination and prevent future stone formation. Adapting to his new environment has been challenging for Iceberg. He doesn't get along well with other cats and often exhibits an alpha personality, sometimes asserting his dominance. While staying with our medical staff, he worked through some behavioral challenges and quickly captured everyone's heart with his playful spirit and larger-than-life personality. Currently, he's in the Dietary and Diabetic Darlings room, where he’s navigating life on behavior medication and an appropriate diet to avoid urinary stones. Iceberg is a fun, loving guy who needs a savvy adopter to help manage his overstimulation. He has a big heart and lots to offer. Come meet this handsome hunk and see if you're the right fit for him!
