About Janet
Start your journey together! Apply now. Janet came to the shelter at just four months old after having kittens before she was ready, unsure of how to care for them and very hesitant around people. In the beginning, she was extremely shy and unsure about human interaction, preferring to keep her distance from everyone. Over time, though, Janet has started to branch out beyond her comfort zone—exploring more of her surroundings and warming up to the gentle attention of humans in her life. Some caring individuals have even managed to give her some well-deserved pets, and these days she's brave enough to come over and give you a curious sniff. Janet is a beautifully sleek and petite black cat, often described as a "mini panther." She’s a great example of how good things come in small packages, and her gentle progress shows how much love she has to offer to a patient adopter. Plus, with a birthday in early May, Janet is a Taurus—she’s sure to bring loyalty and a loving spirit into your home! They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
