Khutie
AvailableKhutie is a small, orange and white domestic short hair male cat living in Tucson, AZ. He’s around 3 years old, neutered, and fully vaccinated. Khutie copes with feline herpesvirus and has no teeth due to prior stomatitis, but is now comfortable. He sometimes struggles with inappropriate urination likely linked to his shelter experience.
About Khutie
Khutie arrived at the shelter in June 2023, joining other special needs kittens after battling serious illness. His health has improved a lot, but he does have feline herpesvirus, which makes him more likely to get upper respiratory infections. In a quieter environment with fewer other cats, these flare-ups are less likely and easier to manage. He had juvenile stomatitis and as a result, all his teeth were removed—this brought him a lot of comfort and he hasn’t needed further treatment since. Khutie has a history of inappropriate urination, likely a habit picked up from shelter life. With patience and a calm home, there’s hope this could improve, though it’s not guaranteed. Khutie is a resilient young cat who really deserves a shot at a safe, loving home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
