About Ember

Meet Ember, a remarkable black lab mix with a story of resilience. Rescued just before a harsh spring cold snap, she entered her foster home where she underwent a transformation from a quiet, questioning pup to a lively and affectionate companion. At 2 years old and weighing 59 pounds, Ember is now full of warmth and light, grateful for the little things — a cozy bed, a full bowl, and love. Ember is skilled in commands like 'sit' and 'stay,' and her eagerness to please makes training a breeze. She's been through surgeries for a hip injury and dental needs but has healed beautifully. Despite her past, she still exhibits her joyful spirit with excited little jumps. Ember thrives in a home with a fenced yard and a caring family ready to continue improving her leash skills. Good with both dogs and cats, Ember would love a kind canine sibling to share her home with. Her playful and chill nature makes her an ideal companion. If you're looking for a true friend, Ember is ready to light up your life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
