About Lil Bit

Meet Lil Bit, an adult Basenji who's seen it all. Imagine being uprooted at a time when calm and familiarity are paramount. That's Lil Bit's story. He recently came from a home filled with love but needed to adapt quickly to changes in his life. This medium-sized Sable beauty isn't a typical lap dog. He enjoys being close by, demanding affection on his terms, whether that means seeking out a kiss or needing some time alone. While he appears aloof to newcomers, he gets along well with dogs, demonstrating a chill demeanor. However, it's worth noting that Lil Bit is not fond of cats and will chase them if given the opportunity, so it's best he finds a feline-free home. Lil Bit is kennel training at night, and while it's a work in progress, he has remained house trained with consistent outings. He walks well on a leash and would thrive in a fenced yard. This gentle boy is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and ready to start fresh. If you think you could be the right fit for him, an approved application and an appointment are necessary to meet Lil Bit. Let's make it official, apply to adopt!
