About Wilma

Meet Wilma! This sweet girl came to us at 6 years old after being surrendered by her owners due to their inability to care for her. Wilma struggles with untreated chronic dry eye, which has caused significant vision loss, along with arthritis in her back legs and a skin infection related to fleas. We've started her on daily eye drops to help with irritation, essential for her comfort. While these won't restore her sight, they do make her more comfortable. Her skin is healing nicely after medicated baths and antibiotics. Wilma is a charming companion who loves to be guided by people and other dogs as she explores new surroundings. We are seeking a slower-paced home with kids over 12 years old to ensure she feels safe. A fenced yard is also required so she can enjoy her surroundings to the fullest. Despite her challenges, Wilma has an abundance of love to share and still gets playful zoomies like a puppy! Wilma will be spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on flea and tick prevention before adoption. If you're interested in giving Wilma a loving home, the first step is to fill out the application on our website.
