About Trout
Trout is one laid-back dog with a personality that shines. Described by our volunteers as easy-going, patient, and a true snuggle champion, he's got a big heart and is simply wonderful. During his day out, Trout proved to be a breeze to walk and even enjoys music, often coming over for kisses and belly rubs by the day's end. While he was recently adopted, he was returned after just four days for being too friendly—a quirky reason that speaks volumes about his affectionate nature. We believe Trout is truly a gem, perfect in his own way. Trout is currently at Chicago Animal Care and Control, located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, open daily from 12pm to 7pm. All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption, and it's important that all household members meet Trout, especially kids and decision-makers. If you have other dogs, we can arrange meet-and-greets at the shelter. Come and see if Trout could be the perfect addition to your family. Start your journey together! Apply now.
