About Mizar

Meet Mizar, a striking long-haired kitten with subtle tabby markings on his face and legs. This Maine Coon mix was surrendered to rescue with his three siblings and is estimated to have been born around mid-March 2026. Already larger than most kittens, Mizar is on track to grow into a big, fluffy cat. Mizar is sweet and affectionate. He enjoys being petted and loves spending time with people. While he appreciates attention, he is still figuring out how to enjoy being held and cuddled. Due to his shy nature around young children, Mizar would thrive in a home with older kids or adults. Energetic and playful, he loves to run, chase toys, and wrestle with fellow felines. Mizar would be happiest with another playful cat for companionship. If possible, adopting him alongside one of his siblings—Capella, Alcor, or Polaris—or one of his foster friends like Togrog, Kip, or Trash Panda would be ideal. If you’re ready for a playful, fluffy companion with so much love to give, Mizar might be the perfect fit for your family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
