About Beans

Meet Beans! Beans is a charming 6-year-old Dachshund from Pelham, NH, weighing around 78 pounds. Though small, he has a big heart, filled with an even bigger personality. He joined our rescue after spending years as a breeding stud dog, missing out on the joys of being a cherished family pet. Many daily experiences are still fresh for him, but he is embracing this second chance with open paws. Initially, Beans may be shy around new people and spaces. A patient family will help him gain confidence, allowing his sweet character to truly shine. Once he trusts you, he becomes a loyal companion, eager to be by your side. His favorite pastimes are snuggling under soft blankets and enjoying cozy naps with his loved ones. He is both crate trained and progressing well with house training, eager to learn the ropes of his new environment. Beans gets along well with other dogs, especially females or easygoing males. He thrives in the company of canine friends but cherishes his bond with people even more. Once he feels secure, he’ll become your shadow and cuddle buddy. Beans is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and he will receive a health certificate before adoption.
