About Ginger + Noah
This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Ginger & Noah's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Everyone knows two dogs are better than none! Meet our dynamic duo: Ginger and Noah! Ginger is a red, 5-year-old female Dachsund, weighing 18 pounds (as of 2/4/26) while Noah is a silver/gray, 5-year-old male Yorkie/Maltese mix, weighing 16 pounds (as of 2/4/26). This dream team was unfortunately surrendered by their elderly owner who could no longer take care of them. While they'll always love their previous owner, this bonded pair is excited to say "See you later, Mississippi!" and "Hello, New England!" Ginger and Noah are like the Barbie and Ken of the dog world: instant icons with the personalities to match! Ginger has a warm personality and loves to play with Noah as well as her human. This energetic girl has a knack for making everyone smile with her playful antics. If you think your life is boring, Ginger will be sure to entertain! Her affectionate nature makes her an ideal companion, and she thrives on social interactions, whether it’s with humans or other pets (though she hasn't had experience with cats yet!) Ginger's bestie for life, Noah, is equally loving and full of energy. He’s the perfect balance of playful and snuggly for families that love a good adventure but also love to stay home and be lazy. Noah won't judge! This friendly boy is socialized and enjoys being around people, making him a wonderful addition to any family. Just like peanut butter & jelly, Ginger and Noah bring joy and happiness wherever they go so get ready to have laugh lines from smiling every day. They love to explore, play fetch, and cuddle up after a long day. Their bond is as unbreakable as Kimmy Schmidt, and they would love nothing more than to spend their days with each other as they live out their adulthood in their fur-ever homes. And really, they're the perfect package deal! Ginger and Noah just ask that their future family has patience with them as they adjust to your home when it comes to housebreaking as every home is different and they might need some time. But you'll be so enamored by their cuteness, you won't even mind! While they don't know commands or have experience with crates, they have experiences with leashes and look forward to learning some more tricks with an active owner. If you’re looking for two affectionate dogs who are ready to fill your life with joy, look no further! Adopt Ginger and Noah today, and let the adventures begin! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.
