Tobias Terrific is settling into foster care and will soon be making his way to New England—with no extra costs for his journey. He’s a 10-month-old Dachshund/Bulldog mix with a short white, cream, and brown coat. Tobias came into rescue with his brothers after a local surrender in Mississippi. He’s shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly, shadowing his humans and eager for affection. His playful side comes out when he’s comfortable, but when it’s time to settle, he’s impressively obedient. Tobias gets along well with dogs and has experience living with cats. He hasn’t been around little kids, but his easygoing spirit helps him adapt. He’s crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and already responds to commands like "sit," "stay," and "stop." Be mindful that long car rides can leave him queasy, so gentle drivers are preferred. Tobias will howl for a bit when left alone, but soon calms down and keeps himself entertained.
