About Izzy
Izzy, a one-year-old German Shepherd mix, is ready to find her forever home. This sweet girl came to animal control as a stray and has spent the last month in a foster-to-adopt family. Unfortunately, the resident dog isn’t keen on sharing attention, so we’re now looking for a new place for Miss Izzy. At about 50 pounds, Izzy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She loves kids and gets along well with them, having spent time with children aged 8 and 9. While she hasn't met any cats yet, her calm demeanor suggests she would adjust well to feline friends. Izzy enjoys a good romp in a fenced-in yard, especially when she gets the zoomies or spots a squirrel. She's currently crate-trained and has had no accidents inside. Playtime is a must for her—she's happiest with a bone or a toy in her mouth. On walks, she’s great on a leash and loves to take in the breeze with her head out the car window. Izzy knows basic commands like Sit, Stay, Down, and Go to your crate. She’s eager to learn more and is currently working on laying down and shaking. Affectionate and loving, she thrives on cuddles and a cozy spot to nap. She truly deserves the best. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
