About Jax
Jax is part of a bonded Border Collie duo with Jill, and together they’re pure comic relief and companionship rolled into one. The two operate like a quirky old married couple—trading gentle corrections, play sessions, and even cleaning each other’s faces. Jax is easygoing and thrives with his best friend by his side; wherever you go, expect him and Jill nearby or stretched out at your feet. Described as good-natured and clearly well-loved in their past life, both dogs are happiest around people. Jax and Jill lost their elderly guardians this year and spent a short time in an apartment with relatives before coming to Glen Highland, where acres of open space gave them their spark back. Jax especially loves chasing balls, tracking squirrels, and watching the world with bright Border Collie focus. He and Jill work as a team, tuned into one another, and need space to play, observe, and be part of the action. Jax does not get along with cats, but his friendly attitude toward people shines through. If you’re looking for loyal, thoughtful companions ready for their next chapter, Jax has a lot to offer.
